Maldon Now added to Tier 3 In Essex
What does this mean for businesses like ours? Well for many small business in and around the area it has been a tough time. The initial March lockdown, a second and now moving into Tier 3 has been a major blow to the local economy.
It’s important as a business to stay optimistic and take work wherever it comes from. We have had to diversify slightly as a Printing business as we have had to buy in new stock we have never used before such as the none slip vinyl coatings for floor stickers. At the beginning of the pandemic we were producing face visors. (the material for these quickly increased in value and they become none viable to produce). Also using the Synapps wipe clean material for menus for Bars, Restaurants and Cafes.
The demand for a lot of the directional signage and floor stickers has now dwindled but at the time it was needed we were able to order a sufficient amount to provide our customers with what they required at that moment in time.
It is important to recognise what is needed in the current market within your sector and to acclimatise to that and strike while the iron is hot.
